Brinkman is the Right Choice
Don’t be Duped!
Don’t be duped by Peter Stautberg and the ORP. Their falsehoods & distortions are just plain wrong. You deserve better. It’s time to Elect Tom Brinkman and Fire Peter Stautberg.
Recently, the Cincinnati Enquirer had this to say about Tom Brinkman:
Brinkman is known for his anti-tax advocacy and is founder of Citizens Opposed to Additional Spending and Taxes (COAST). He voted “no” 686 times in his legislative career, often to the dismay of his Republican colleagues.
We admire Brinkman’s frequent appearances at community meetings, and we have concerns about Stautberg’s support for deep cuts to the local government fund.

Is Peter Stautberg Hiding anti-gun Views?
Is Peter Stautberg hiding his anti-2nd amendment views? This item came across our desk yesterday and is quite shocking. It represents one more reason to make sure we hire Tom Brinkman and Fire Peter Stautberg.
Tom Brinkman been a consistent defender of the 2nd amendment. The Nation Association for Gun Rights had this to say about Tom:
“as a State Representative…Brinkman was a lead sponsor of the Ohio “Constitutional Carry” bill, which simply states you shouldn’t need permission from a bureaucrat to exercise your God-given right to defend yourself and your family.”
Dear Voter,
As a Second Amendment supporter, a patriot and a concerned citizen, you need to be informed about important issues facing your community.
That’s why we sent the National Association for Gun Rights Candidate Survey to candidates across the country.
I’ve got good news and bad news for you in Ohio House District 27.
The good news is that Republican candidate Tom Brinkman has returned his NAGR Candidate Surveys 100% pro-gun.
Tom Brinkman has also signed the Gun Rights Leadership Pledge, promising to sponsor pro-gun bills in the Ohio General Assembly.
Brinkman has pledged his support for solid pro-gun “Constitutional Carry” legislation.
In fact, as a State Representative years ago, Brinkman was a lead sponsor of the Ohio “Constitutional Carry” bill, which simply states you shouldn’t need permission from a bureaucrat to exercise your God-given right to defend yourself and your family.
Brinkman has also pledged to vote for legislation to protect Ohio from unconstitutional federal anti-gun restrictions, such as Ohio House Bill 99.
This bill would have blocked the enforcement of Obama’s un-constitutional Executive Orders, including his efforts to strip our veterans of their gun rights.
But there is bad news for District 27: Rep. Peter Stautberg refused to answer his Gun Rights Survey.
Rep. Stautberg refuses to stand up against city-level gun bans and against outlawing citizen self-defense in places like parks, shopping malls and other public places.
Stautberg also refuses to oppose Obama’s radical anti-gun agenda in Ohio.
Stautberg even refuses to oppose legislation that would deny Ohio veterans of their gun rights without due process.
The National Association for Gun Rights has been conducting surveys on candidates across the country for many years.
Time and again the results speak for themselves.
Gun-grabbers in pro-gun districts prefer to dodge the issue rather than defending your 2nd Amendment rights.
When politicians refuse to take a stand on guns, you can be almost certain that the rest of your Constitutional rights are not on their list of priorities.
That’s why the National Association for Gun Rights is dedicated to keeping constituents informed about the true positions of our elected officials and candidates.
With the support of nearly 3.5 million members nationwide, 20,000 in Ohio, we are giving people across the state a loud voice in defense of our gun rights.
And trust me, the politicians can hear you.
There is no better time to lobby them than when they are seeking your vote at election time.
So help make a difference today:
Contact Rep. Peter Stautberg and insist that he return his NAGR candidate survey and start supporting the Second Amendment.
Then contact Republican candidate Tom Brinkman and thank him for answering his survey 100% pro-gun, and for taking a stand for our Second Amendment rights by signing the leadership pledge.
Also, thank Tom Brinkman for fighting to protect and defend our Second Amendment rights in the General Assembly when he served as State Representative in years past.
When our rights are at stake, there’s not a moment to lose.
Please act today!
For Freedom,
Dudley Brown
Executive Vice President
P.S. The May 6th Primary is just a week away and now is the best time to lobby your local candidates.
Sadly, Rep. Peter Stautberg refuses to return his Gun Rights Surveys or go on record against the radical anti-gun agenda.
But there is good news. Republican candidate Tom Brinkman has returned his National Association for Gun Rights Surveys 100% pro-gun, along with his Gun Rights Leadership Pledges.
In fact, as a State Representative years ago, Brinkman was a lead sponsor of the Ohio “Constitutional Carry” bill, which simply states you shouldn’t need permission from a bureaucrat to exercise your God-given right to defend yourself and your family.
Please contact Rep. Peter Stautberg and insist that he return his Gun Rights Survey and start supporting the Second Amendment.
Then contact Republican House Candidate Tom Brinkman and thank him for standing for gun rights.

Brinkman’s voting record
Peter Stautberg and the ORP would like you to believe that Tom Brinkman votes with the Democrats practically all the time.
Laughable, we know. However what they’re not telling you is deceitful and downright misleading
For you see, there are hundreds of votes that take place where everyone (all 99 lawmakers
from both sides of the aisle) votes the same way.
There are procedural votes, resolutions, bills of common agreement etc, such as the Matt Maupin Highway, Woody Hayes Day, the Cincinnati Reds License Plate, where both Democrats and Republicans vote in agreement.
So the next time you hear that Tom Brinkman votes with the Democrats you’ll know they’re trying to pull the proverbial wool over your eyes!
Listed below is an example of procedural votes where everyone voted in agreement. You be the judge.
